Early Life
Zayn was born on 12nd of January 1993, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. He is the son of Yasir Malik, a Briton of Pakistani descent, and Tricia Brannan Malik.
Education
Zayn attended “Lower Fields Primary School” and “Tong High School” in Bradford. He studied arts and appeared in school productions as a teenager.
Career
He grew up listening to his father’s urban music recordings as well as Bollywood music. Before his music career, Zayn wanted to get a degree in English. In 2010, he auditioned as a solo artist for the British TV series The X Factor. After he was eliminated, he was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, to form the group known as One Direction.

Since then, the band has become one of the most successful boy bands ever. When their debut album, Up All Night, was released, it hit the Billboard chart. She also has hit singles including “What Makes You Beautiful”, “Live While We Are Young”, “The Story of My Life” and “Steal My Girl”. He was then seen in a London recording studio with producer Naughty Boy.
Zayn Malik previously dated The X Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson but their relationship ended within four months. After the separation, he started dating Little Mix singer Perry Edwards. The couple got engaged in August 2013 but also separated. Buzz is that he got engaged to supermodel Gigi Hadid.
