Early Life
She was born in 1987 in Vladivostok, Soviet Union. But her nationality is Indian.
Family
Her family moved to Mumbai and then to the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam. She gained fame through the TV show “Colors” on Maa Channel. Swathi’s father was an officer in the Indian Navy and was trained as a submarine in the Soviet Union.
Education
While studying in the eleventh grade, she moved to Hyderabad. She studied at Saint Marys College.

Career
She made her debut in Danger, a Telugu Movie. In this movie, she played a supporting role. But it did not get positive reviews. In 2007 her next movie “Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule” was released / It was a hit movie. She made her debut as a lead in her first Tamil film Subramaniapuram. For this film, she received Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu and Nandi Award for Best Actress. It first appeared in Malayalam with Amen.
Swathi is also a playback singer. In 2008, she was dubbed by actress Elena D’Cruz in the movie Jalsa. She is best known for her two playback songs “Unbelievable” and “A Square B Square”.
She also appeared in an advertisement for “Cadbury DAIRY MILK” and was last seen in the Telugu movie “Karthikeya”. Currently, she has three upcoming Tamil movies on her cat.
