Early Life
She was born on the 14th of March, 1988, and raised in North Highlands, California, into a working-class family.

Her mother worked in California, while her father was a mechanic. Her father was Greek-American, while her mother was of English, Irish and Polish ancestry. Her parents divorced when she was five, her mother raised her afterward, and she remarried in 2000.

Gray attended four high schools, including Highlands High in California, having been unhappy in all of them, although she graduated early a year at the age of 17.
