She has modeled for “LUX” along with “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan” in a commercial directed by Rohan Sippy. She then appeared in commercials for brands such as Cadbury, “Tata Sky” and “Francis Alukkas”.

She has got her wedding lehenga done by a designer in Kolkata. Just like any other Indian girl, Pooja was very passionate about Bollywood since childhood and it was her dream to become an actress. She started her modeling career with an advertisement for LUX along with Aishwarya Ray Bachchan. Pooja used to stay very close to productions of Balaji and Yashraj, two of the biggest production houses in Mumbai.
