Early Life
Michelle was born on 17th January, 1964, in Chicago. Her father is a city water plant employee and Democratic District captain and Marian Shields Robinson. Her mom was a full-time home-maker until Michelle end the high school.
Education
Growing up in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, graduating from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Obama spent her early career working for the law firm Sidley Austin, where she met her husband.
Career
She later served as Associate Dean of Student Services at the University of Chicago and Vice President for Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Barack and Michael got married in 1992 and they have two daughters.
Michelle Obama returned to speak at the (2012) Democratic national Convention, and again during the (2016) Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Hillary Clinton.
