The star was born on January 15, 1978, in San Diego, California where she grew up under the care of her parents Howard Clayton (Father), who worked as a criminal defense attorney, and mother Shelley who was murdered as the event planner. At the age of 19, Jimmy Clay felt the need to move to New York City in search of greener pastures. While her initial plan was to grow her career as a makeup artist, she ended up on TV.
Career
