Early Life
Bill Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, at Julia Chester Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. Prior to the presidency, he was the 40th Governor of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and the 42nd Governor of the state from 1983 to 1992.
Family
He was the son of William Jefferson Blythe Jr., a peddler who died in a car accident three months before he was born as Virginia Dale.
Education
Bill Clinton grew up in Arkansas and is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he was a member of the Kappa Kappa Psi and the Phi Beta Kappa Association. Clinton won a Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford University, where he initially read for a Bachelor of Philosophy. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics but transferred to B.Litt. in Politics, and eventually, BA. in politics. During Yale Law School, he met fellow law student Hilary Rodham, who was a year ahead of him.

Career
Prior to that, he served as the attorney general of Arkansas from 1977 to 1979. Clinton was a neo-Democratic ideologist, and many of his policies reflected a centrist “third way” political philosophy.
Affair
They started dating and soon they were inseparable. Only about a month later, Bill Clinton postponed his plans to be George McGovern’s campaign coordinator for the 1972 United States presidential election in order to move in with her in California. They married on October 11, 1975, and their only child, Chelsea, was born on February 27, 1980.
